Forever 21+ Sale Scores/Haul!! (Try-on)

I love it when Forever 21 has their sales, at least in-store. Last week, F21 had a 40% sale, but in-store it was an extra 50% off sale prices. I ended up getting 4 dresses for $16. Now that’s what I call a deal!!! Here are some of the dresses that I bought.

f211

Online, this dress was $10.99, in-store it was $15.90. It was on sale for $6.99 and on clearance for $3.50 I love the color of the dress, this dress is bodycon so I would still need to wear some sort of shapewear for me to be fully comfortable in this dress, but I love it anyway.

f212

I love this dress, it is so soft and cozy. If love both colors, but the only option available was the light blue option. This dress was $17.90, both online and in-store. It was on sale for $7.99 and on clearance for $3.99.

f213

This is probably my favorite dress of the bunch. I love how muted the pink is and how it works with my body. It’s super soft, stretchy and you can totally dress it up and wear it in the winter months. This dress was $10.90 online, $15.90 in-store. It was on sale for $6.99 and on clearance for $3.50

f214

This is something that was totally out of my comfort zone, I don’t really do a lot of lace up items, but I had to get it. I love it, the color is vibrant and it’s comfy. This romper was $17.90 original price. It was on sale for $7.99 and I bought it on clearance for $3.99.

Here I am trying it on with a denim jacket (from Ross) that I am obsessed with at the moment.

I recommend everyone to go to F21 during their clearance days, there are so many things that you can buy on the cheap cheap. I got 4 outfits for the price of one. Literally, I came in wanting a dress that was $16, I ended up putting it back and purchasing four!! So amazing!

Black Friday Haul!!!

It’s officially 2 weeks after Black Friday and all of my purchases have come in. I’m on a budget so I didn’t go crazy with the shopping but I got some good deals that I want to show. I bought some things from Charlotte Russe, Torrid and ColourPop.

CHARLOTTE RUSSE

crcoat

I’ve never had a “cool jacket,” living in Chicago will have you wearing jackets that make you look like the Michelin Man. So when Charlotte Russe had a sale and free shipping, I had to get it. This jacket is $43.99 regular price, and I bought it for $20. What a score. This Moto jacket will add a little bad-ass flair to my outfits.

TORRID

I have never bought anything from Torrid, mostly because everything they sell seems to be on the more expensive side, I’m more on a Forever21 budget. So when I saw these dresses on clearance, I pounced. P.S. – I love the dresses ( will feature them on future OOTD) but the only thing I did not like was the fact that Torrid charged for shipping on Black Friday ($6), while everyone else had free shipping, and this package came today – two weeks after Black Friday. All other packages came earlier, what gives? *NOTE: I had a brain fart and the $17.99 and $22.49 prices should be switched, but I’m too lazy to make another image – SORRY!

Disney Villains Lace Up Swing Dress

torriddisney

I bought this dress for a family Christmas party. I love it, it’s black, slimming, has sleeves and is overall gorgeous. On the dress itself, there are faces of Disney Villains embroidered in the dress. You have to look close to see them though, which is fine by me because I wouldn’t want it to be too obvious. Can’t wait to try this on.

Floral Print Challis Open Back Dress

torridfloralThis dress was the dress that cost $17.99, I bought this dress because I love florals and I love the price. I can wear this with tights in the winter, with a cardigan in the spring, wear it alone in the summer and fall. It’s a dress you can wear year-round. Love it!

ColourPop

I’ve never bought anything from ColourPop but my sister ordered some lipsticks and I was very interested in trying some. I got two colors.

I’m a sucker for a plum color so I bought this, I think this will look perfect in the winter months.

What’s better than a pink lipstick? A Hello Kitty lipstick! I am so excited for this, the packaging looks amazing and so does the color. Awesome! 😀

Did you buy anything on Black Friday?

Mani Monday + Zoya Mini Haul

Happy August everyone! Last Saturday I received my Zoya nail package in the mail last Friday and I immediately painted my nails. Because it’s August, I wanted to use a nice, summery color, so I chose Beatrix. Beatrix is a nice toasted orange with tons of glitter. It has “pixie dust” which makes my nails shine.

The best part of this manicure? No top coat needed! I achieved this look by using two coats and no top coat. My nails have not chipped and they look amazing. I would definitely say that Zoya is the best nail polish brand out there.

If you want to see the rest of the colors I purchased, please read on 😀 Continue reading

Lovesick Plus Size Haul (And Why I’m never shopping there again)

A couple of months ago, I was walking around my mall when I saw a sign on a storefront – a new plus size store coming to my mall, how exciting! I generally buy most of my clothes at JC Penny, Old Navy, and my favorite store, Forever 21. I was looking forward to this new store, Lovesick, coming into my mall because I felt that – yes, although Forever 21 offers nice plus size clothing – a girl needs more options, and what’s better than having an entire store dedicated to plus sizes?

Plus Size Clothing Haul + I need your opinion!

I’ve been doing a bit of shopping over the past couple of weeks. Blame the higher temperatures and the free shipping, but I’ve been buying a lot of shorts, skirts and dresses. Here are some of the things that I have bought and an item (a jacket) that I am thinking of buying.

So here we go…

There’s a new store in my mall called LoveSick that caters to the plus size girl that wants to be fashionable. I would describe this store as a torrid-style store with Forever 21 prices. I purchased a floral lace top with some shorts. I feel like they would pair well together. I did buy these items during the Memorial Day sale, which was buy one get one free on all clearance items. I had to take this opportunity. I paid $15.99 for both items and since I opted to get the order delivered to the store, shipping was free. Such a score!

Next up is a Forever 21 skirt. I bought it because it was on sale and Forever 21 was having free shipping, something that I could not pass up. I also bought it because I have a lot of dresses but not a lot of skirts, and a skirt can up your outfit. You can tuck a graphic tee under the skirt and it will instantly give your outfit a pop of color and girlyness. Love it. I chose this color because I don’t own anything of this color and I thought it would be fun to wear this summer.

Now I need your help! I don’t know whether I should get this jacket from Old Navy. I know, I know, it’s the beginning of summer, we shouldn’t be thinking about jackets right now, but I am in love with this jacket. I love the color and the texture. It’s lightweight which is great for the times when it’s chilly outside. Perfect for the fall and maybe early winter. Should I get this jacket? Leave your thoughts.
