Forever 21+ Sale Scores/Haul!! (Try-on)

I love it when Forever 21 has their sales, at least in-store. Last week, F21 had a 40% sale, but in-store it was an extra 50% off sale prices. I ended up getting 4 dresses for $16. Now that’s what I call a deal!!! Here are some of the dresses that I bought.

f211

Online, this dress was $10.99, in-store it was $15.90. It was on sale for $6.99 and on clearance for $3.50 I love the color of the dress, this dress is bodycon so I would still need to wear some sort of shapewear for me to be fully comfortable in this dress, but I love it anyway.

I love this dress, it is so soft and cozy. If love both colors, but the only option available was the light blue option. This dress was $17.90, both online and in-store. It was on sale for $7.99 and on clearance for $3.99.

This is probably my favorite dress of the bunch. I love how muted the pink is and how it works with my body. It’s super soft, stretchy and you can totally dress it up and wear it in the winter months. This dress was $10.90 online, $15.90 in-store. It was on sale for $6.99 and on clearance for $3.50

This is something that was totally out of my comfort zone, I don’t really do a lot of lace up items, but I had to get it. I love it, the color is vibrant and it’s comfy. This romper was $17.90 original price. It was on sale for $7.99 and I bought it on clearance for $3.99.

Here I am trying it on with a denim jacket (from Ross) that I am obsessed with at the moment.

I recommend everyone to go to F21 during their clearance days, there are so many things that you can buy on the cheap cheap. I got 4 outfits for the price of one. Literally, I came in wanting a dress that was $16, I ended up putting it back and purchasing four!! So amazing!

Outfit of The Week – Boohoo

Hello!

For this week’s Outfit of The Week I am wearing my latest from Boohoo. It’s the

Plus Hannah Floral Plunge Neck Shift Dress

I love it because you can totally rock it as a very dressy dress (I was planning on wearing it to a wedding, but it didn’t arrive in time) or just wear it as a casual everyday dress. I love a boho dress and this one is it, I love the sleeves and the print.

What are you wearing this summer?

Help Me Pick An Outfit!!!

header

Hey guys, I need your help! I have a wedding/anniversary/party to go to this weekend and I don’t know what to wear. Help me pick stuff out!! 🙂

outfit

Here are some options for outfits that I have.

The first one is a gingham blue dress from ASOS (All the outfits are from the brand Boohoo, but this one was found through ASOS Curve. This dress is cute for the summer but I wonder if it’s too casual?

The second one might be my favorite, I love the color and the flowers, plus I can’t resist a cold shoulder. This is the dress from the first Boohoo haul, and good news!! – It’s back in stock!

The third, I THINK, I have that as an option. One bone that I have to pick through Boohoo is the slowness of their shipping. I only paid ASOS $4 for shipping and it got to me in 3 days. I paid $6 for Boohoo and it’s been over a week since I have ordered. I don’t know where my dress is because the tracking has stopped updating even though it’s scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. What a mess.

Hint: If you love Boohoo, order it through ASOS, the shipping is not worth it.

Here are links for the outfits if you want to check them out!

Plus Size Shopping – First Boohoo Order!

boohoodress

When I tell you that I’ve never ordered a dress fast enough…I am not kidding. So for the past couple of weeks I wanted to revamp my wardrobe with something new. At first I was looking around for a purse (I think I still want?), one that is more wearable. Right now, I am switching between a huge h&m purse and a St. John’s Bay backpack. Both are awesome as far as accessories, but I want something that is not as big and can be worn with cute summer outfits.

I searched everywhere for a purse and ultimately I did not find anything that caught my eye. I might buy a purse that I saw at Marshall’s but I don’t know, maybe I can shop my closet, lord knows I have too much crap. During my quest to find the perfect purse, I came across a store called Boohoo. If I remember correctly, it’s based in the UK and there are many haul videos on YouTube. As I was scrolling through the list of what they offered, as soon as I saw “Plus Size & Curve,” I was hooked.

I said “screw the bags, let’s get some clothes” and off I went. There were two items that I had my eyes on and couldn’t decide on what to get. I had two reasons for only getting one item: #1 – Although throughout most of the day, there are 50% off sales, I did not want to spend $40 on clothes that I did not know I liked. Plus, since they are located outside the US, I decided that the returning process could be a bit hard to handle. (I just realized how lazy I sound!) #2 – This is a store I was foreign to so I wanted to get a feel for the clothes before I became a loyal shopper.

One of the options that was on my shortlist was the dress that I eventually bought. It’s a nice lilac color, the florals are so perfect for the summer and the off-the-shoulder is something that I haven’t worn.

Here is my second favorite piece: it’s the Plus Katie Embroidered Playsuit

It’s a beautiful black romper with roses. So cute.pzz91873_black_xl

I ultimately went with the dress because I had to. At night when I was restless, I thought that maybe looking at the clothes would settle my mind, I saw that there were only 2(!!!!) dresses in the size that I wanted left in stock. I panicked and I don’t think I’ve ever logged into my PayPal faster. I got the dress!

About a week and a half later, the dress came. Some initial notes on the dress: I got this in a size US 18 because I did not know how the fit, material would work with my body. Also, these clothes are from outside the US so you never know how it will fit. From first impressions, I can say that I could have sized down to a 16 without a problem. The 18 is not too big. And as a little bonus: my mother can also wear it, which is awesome since she loves it too. Another note: This dress is sheer, at least to me, so I will have to find some nude underwear to wear with this dress or find something that I can use as a slip.

I’ll have a OOTD posted sometime soon! In the meantime, stay awesome!

Question of the Day: Where do you like to shop to update your wardrobe?

Come Shop with Me: Torrid (Rest In Peace Lovesick)

There are only a few days before Lovesick closes (at least the one at my local mall). This is so upsetting, I loved Lovesick, it was like a Forever21 made especially for me. Although they didn’t offer Forever 21 prices, they had some cute plus size clothes.

I think it must have been around late March when Lovesick announced it was closing. The official word is that they are taking a break, but I think Lovesick will be gone for good. I hope I’m wrong. I loved that freaking store!

But with closing comes sales and clearance, and I’m all about that life. Here are some outfits that I got: I bought all these items for less than $50!!

The first thing I got was this cute babydoll type of shirt. I paired it with this cute shaggy cardigan.

I got lucky with this one! I bought this $60+ dress for less than $15! It’s missing a belt and it’s a bit too big, but it’s nothing a good tailor can’t fix.

I love, love, love this dress. It’s floral and it has a collar, so beautiful. I bought this dress for less than $10

I got lucky and had a Lovesick at my local mall so I was able to snag all these deals. I think all that I bought was from Torrid. I want to say that Lovesick had 40% Lovesick merchandise, 60% Torrid. It was odd, but I guess it makes sense since Torrid is their sister store.

What is your favorite store?
