I am so excited to have finally found this nail polish. I remember when Kimono-over from Essie first hit the market. I didn’t get it because most of the time, I tend to either use more affordable brands or use coupons. Either way, I never bought it and over the weekend I went to Sally Beauty and had a coupon so I bought this bad boy for less than $5, what a steal!
This isn’t really a summer color, but it’s a “me” color. I love plums, and this is a beautiful color. You can get away with one coat of polish, but I am a creature of habit so I used 2 coats, then I topped it off with my $0.99 Wet n Wild top coat.
From far away, this color looks black but in the right light, you can see the color in all its glory.
What is “your” color?
Here is what I’ve been listening to this month, what’a on your playlist?
This week my nails took a turn for the weird.
Hello, it’s (was, since I’m putting this post up after they air) Oscar Sunday. This year I tried to watch as many of the films that were up, there were many great films nominated but only a few win. Here were my predictions for the Oscars.
What were your predictions? What was your favorite movie? What did you think about the awards?
Happy first week of February. This month is all about red!
For this week, I used a Wet n Wild color called Marooned Over. I know I said I was going to try to limit my nail polish purchases this year but I had to have them, they were $2.49, originally over $5. What a score!
For this color, I used 3 coats. Normally I just use 2 but it was still streaky with 2. I also used Wet n wild top coat which helped with keeping my nails from chipping and keeping them shinny.
Should I do a classic red or go with a sparkly red for valentines week?
